The Caseta by Lutron In-Wall Switch offers a seamless and convenient lighting control experience. This switch, part of Lutron's family of Caseta dimmers and smart phone controls, provides switching of multiple load types and, when paired with Pico remote controls, allows for remote control from anywhere in the space.
The Pico remote control can be used in hand, on a tabletop pedestal, or mounted directly to the wall, providing added convenience (remote control and accessories sold separately). Users can even control the lights from their car as they arrive home. The switch is compatible with up to 720-Watt of incandescent, halogen, ELV and MLV, 6 Amp of dimmable LED/CFL, and 3.6 Amp of general-purpose fans. A neutral wire is required.
The Caseta smart switch is easy to install, replacing an existing switch in as little as 15 minutes. It provides peace of mind by allowing users to set lights to automatically adjust with the seasons, ensuring a well-lit home. The smart away feature randomly turns lights on and off, giving the appearance of occupancy even when away (Caseta Smart Hub, L-BDG2-WH, required).
Caseta is the most connected smart lighting control brand, integrating with a wide range of leading smart home devices, including Amazon Alexa, Apple Home, Google Assistant, Ring, Serena shades, and Sonos (Caseta Smart Hub required). Users can control their lights in multiple ways, through the free Lutron app, with voice commands, or from the wall. Schedules and scenes can be created in the app (Caseta Smart Hub required).
For added convenience, the Caseta system can be used with the wireless Pico remote (PJ2-2B-GXX-L01), allowing users to turn lights on and off with the touch of a button from anywhere in the home. The Pico remote can also be used to create a new 3-way application by mounting it to almost any wall surface without cutting holes or pulling wire. Existing 3-way switches can be replaced by mounting the bracket/Pico over the backbox (Pico remote, PICO-WBX-ADAPT sold separately).
The Caseta smart switch is compatible with up to 720-Watts of incandescent/halogen/ELC/MLV, 6A of LED/CFL, or 3.6A of ceiling or exhaust fans.
